caner teker
JulyDecember 2026

We are pleased to introduce caner teker, the eighth recipient of the Between Bridges Residency. From July to December 2026, teker is based at Between Bridges' residency space on Keithstraße. teker's choreographic practice approaches the body as a site where violence, discipline, desire, and projection converge, working across live performance, music, and film. Their work has been presented internationally in theatres, museums, and exhibition contexts.

Developed in 2026 during the Between Bridges Residency in Berlin, b2b / nothing new is a choreographic study by caner teker, unfolding as a live serial solo. Shaped by years of martial arts training, the body defaults to defense, to self protection, at the exact moments identity has nothing left to stand on. Repetition is not a search for something new. It is the piece returning to itself, again and again, as a form of resistance.
