caner teker
July–December 2026
We are pleased to introduce caner teker, the eighth recipient of the Between Bridges Residency. From July to December 2026, teker is based at Between Bridges' residency space on Keithstraße. teker's choreographic practice approaches the body as a site where violence, discipline, desire, and projection converge, working across live performance, music, and film. Their work has been presented internationally in theatres, museums, and exhibition contexts.
During the residency, caner teker develops a new choreographic study shaped by years of martial arts training and performed as a serial solo. The body carries out movements rooted in acts of defense and self-protection, holding its ground at moments when identity feels unstable.
The work will be presented for the first time at Between Bridges Residency Space in September 2026. Further information will follow.
